Story

Superposition is the business imprint for Michael Garrett. It is established as an entity that has specialised in film visual effects design, 2D and 3D compositing, environments, technical direction and colour workflows. It is flexible enough in scale and scope that it has played different roles depending on project requirements. 

Michael has experience operating as a vendor, a vfx supervisor managing other vendors or artists, and collaborating client-side with the director and editorial - sometimes fulfilling all of those roles simultaneously.

Michael moved to the US from London in 2009, at first working on films between San Francisco, LA and Vancouver for vendors such as ILM, MPC and Scanline. After relocating to NYC in 2013 to work on Darren Aronofsky's Noah, he has since established himself working directly with production and studio clients in both NYC and LA.
